The family needed private space including a new accessible in-laws suite to allow a parent to move in with them. The addition also needed to have a private living room with lots of natural light. The existing master suite is on the 2nd floor and needed to be enlarged. This project had a number of constraints including tight lot setbacks and distance to the septic system. We created a new wing set back from the main body of the home to simulate the opposite side of the home. This met the setback requirements and kept the required distance to the septic system.
