Henn Addition Project

The first objective of the home owners was to preserve the original style. We needed to be sure the addition looked like it was a part of the original home, not an addition.

Careful attention to details, roof lines and room placement achieved our goal. Second, there needed to be a multi-purpose area that could later be converted to a 1st floor master bedroom.

The owners needed a bathroom that could accommodate washing their dogs. They were tired of having to bend over hurting their backs to wash the dogs outside or making a mess inside. We designed the bath with an oversize shower, with a large raised seat that the dogs could be placed on for washing with the handheld shower. Once finished the dogs could shake the water in the shower without the mess.

Behind the home is a wonderful view of a cove on lake Chesdin. Unfortunately, it could not be seen from the master bedroom. Can you believe there were no windows facing the picturesque view of the cove? We remedied this issue by enlarging the master bedroom, allowing the light to brighten the area.
