We added a large new Family room and Laundry.
This couple needed more space for their growing family & wanted to build
the addition themselves.
Their needs included a big Family room for daily living, a utility room with
space for an extra freezer , refrigerator, a folding table, closet and a shower
for the pets. They also needed another bedroom on the 2nd floor for a total of 6
bedrooms and a new linen closet. They wanted to save money and not have the 2nd floor addition as large
as the 1st floor addition.
We remodeled the existing Family room into a new 1st floor master bedroom
suite with a new private screened porch. We used the space from the old laundry
and powder room to give them a large walk-in closet.
The old kitchen was small and not functional. We rearranged the kitchen and
added a walk-in pantry taking the space from the old living room.
A large dining room was created from the old Living room on the front
left of the home.
